Nearly 40 years ago, two leather clubs noticed a separation. Men stayed with men’s groups, and dykes stayed with dyke groups. With the goal of building community against the AIDS crisis, Minnesota Knights of Leather, a lesbian leather group, and Minnesota Blackguard, a men’s group, started hosting a monthly leather meetup.

This month, we reignite the tradition. Twin Cities Leatherdykes and Atons of Minneapolis present BODYSHOP - a night of cross-club community in the face of increasing persecution and isolation.
