But in this universe, Leonard Sampson never exposed himself to gamma radiation in an attempt to woo Betty away from Bruce so he doesn’t have gamma hair and gamma strength

But nobody really recognizes depowered Leonard, world’s most averagest man, so he has his green hair here so he’s recognizable with but the quickest of Tony Stark hijinx hand waves to excuse it.
