5. favorite minor character

I know this is bait for Egrorian so HA! I’ve done Egrorian before, I think even in this same meme. So my real favourite minor, non-joke character is Docholli. He qualifies for favourite simply because I use him in most of my hcs, PGP and otherwise. He’s not the only surgeon or doctor around in B7, but he’s got the most interesting backstory of the lot, and because of his motivations and the relatively positive, open-ended conclusion to his episode, it’s more than possible he could have later joined the Rebellion, whether with Blake or another group all together.

In oldddd fics of mine, I will admit that I wrote him as a bit of a drunk which is unfair. He’s clearly got a hell of a good heart, and he carries around his surgical instruments even here - if he needs to be, he can and will be sober. He’s still an incredibly skilled surgeon, no matter where life takes him, and he takes pride in his work - even with the barest resources, you know he’ll do a damned good job.

Anyway, I got rambly, but that’s why I love Docholli and will make no apologies for repeatedly using him in every fic where I need a surgeon, whether in past or future fics.
