Apart from the usually visited Thimphu and Paro, there’s a heaven hidden in the countryside in West Central Bhutan – Punakha. 27th April - Dochu La Drive from Thimpu to Punakha. First stop at Dochu La 3140m with its 108 Chorten for the fallen solders. Unfortunate it was overcast so could not see the Himalayas on the horizon.
