SORRY IT'S LATE, BUT Recently i have been thinking about Pokémon BTTF au. Imagine Doc as an electric-type gym leader, but he forgot he is one, and he just thinks kids are attacking him (he still sweeps the floor with them).SO here's the premise of how Doc and Marty meet:

Marty is like 13/14; he has beaten like 5/6 gyms. The next gym leader is this crazy scientist who everyone gatekeeps access to his location. Nonetheless, he finds it.

Like in canon, he breaks in. And in doing that, he distracts Doc, whose experiment explodes.

Since Marty surpassed expectations and stayed long enough till help arrived, Doc (when he recovers) mentors Marty in return. Since Marty's goal is to beat the Elite 4.

But the thing is, Marty's team consists of a starter, Pidgey and a Ratata. At the best level 15 all of them combined.

I know it's near Christmas and it sat in my inbox since October, but hey, at least I got to it :'DD

It's 1:33 AM. It's always 1:33 AM.

He remembers the scream tearing out of his throat, but this time it’s like he can’t say anything at all. The gunshots burst in his ears. Blood runs over concrete as he runs, rubber soles pounding, because this can't be happening again, it can't—

The hand on his forehead is freezing, fingertips brushing his hair back, but it feels so good he can't help but turn toward it even as he shivers, wracked with cold. It's the middle of October and it feels like it's 90 degrees.

"Doc." It's more of a whimper than Marty would ever like to admit. Blue eyes, fever-bright and dazed, slowly slide open, meeting the scientist’s gaze after a few moments too long.

“Wait, what’re you doing out of bed?!” he exclaims, blind panic and adrenaline overtaking him as he tries to sit up. “Your chest— and-and your head! I’m s’posed to be keepin’ an eye on you! I—”

The exhaustion catches up with him as he falls back onto the cot. Wait, when did he get here? Last thing he remembered, he was sitting on the floor…

His eyes turn glassy with unshed tears.

“I didn’t mean to fall asleep… I’m sorry…”

"Special Agent Fox Mulder, with the FBI." The agent says, quickly flashing his badge before folding it back up again. He takes the piece of paper, offering a 'thanks' before giving it a once over. Everything seems to be legit. It was a lot better than he had been expecting, at least.

"I'm here in town investigating reports of strange lights in the local area. During your time here, you wouldn't have happened to have witnessed anything fitting that description, would you?" Scully had been reticent in coming all the way out here just for a simple story about a strange vehicle and abnormal lights, but they had gone to greater lengths on less evidence of bizarre activity. His partner probably thought it was aliens, but Mulder had a hunch it was a something little closer to earth.

"Weird sounds? Anything out of the ordinary?" Mulder continues to probe.

I am getting much better at writing about science-y things. I still rely on google and probably always will but I will tell you this much--It has definitely been a learning experience lol.

Scully felt the urge to roll her eyes at every word she was hearing, but managed to resist due to determined professionalism. But the way these police officers were talking was ridiculous; it was more than that, it was absurd. A vehicle appearing out of nowhere, theories of UFOs disguised as a simple car; clearly these officers had watched one too many sci-fi movies and subscribed to too many conspiracy magazines. Okay, she could admit that the evidence of sub-zero temperatures in the surrounding area, the ice particles on the nearby foliage, was strange and something she was admittedly curious about, but she did not believe that the man currently being held in the sheriff's interrogation room was an alien or that his scrap-metal of a car was anything but a vehicle that had been patched up with one too many DIY attempts.

Of course Mulder had insisted on examining the car himself, which left Scully dealing with the driver. Looking at him through the window, he appeared more mad scientist than undercover extra-terrestrial.

"Dr Brown, I'm Agent Dana Scully," she introduced herself as she entered the room. "I'd like to ask you a few questions about your recent arrival in this town, as well as your vehicle, if that's okay."

"You can keep asking me these questions, but I'm not going to know the answers!" (pick a timeline any timeline!)

Biff crosses his arms, glaring directly into the other man's eyes. It's funny— he's used to looking down at people, but the Doc is pretty much level with him. Kinda fucks up his usual intimidation tactic, but whatever. There's always another way to scare someone, he just hasn't figured out the best strategy yet.

So he relaxes his shoulders, picks at a nail. Like they're old pals sharing a beer and the boys aren't standing guard right outside the office. "Thing is, I know you know the answers, 'cause that old man told me to watch out for you. Playing stupid ain't gonna help you here."

Fingers resting lightly on the plastic cover, he slides the Almanac to the other side of his desk. With an equally plastic smile, he says, "Now, tell me where I can get my hands on more books like this. I'm done asking nicely."

"What? No, I'm not... I'm not crying," the twelve-year-old says, struggling around the tightness in his throat in an attempt to sound super cool, casual, and grown-up. So cool and casual he wipes his forearm across his eyes.

What kind of stupid town didn't have a bus station, anyway? What even was he doing back in California? Why wasn't he in Oregon? Where was Mabel?

"I'm... I'm just trying to find the bus station?..." Dipper's proud of himself for how he manages to get that out, even if it sounds a little hoarse and shaky. Then he makes the dumb mistake of actually looking at him. The guy's concerned expression and kindly face reminds him so much of his uncles that he makes a sound somewhere between a sniffle and a sob, the guy's features blurring into a smear of color.

"I-I just wanna go home, man," he finally confesses, hanging his head as tears slip down his face. "I-I don't know where I am, I can't find my sister, I'm really freaking out, and I gotta get home to my uncles." // @doctorbrown liked for a starter!

@doctorbrown gets a thing cuz i'm in a clara mood

"Emmett dear-- promise you won't laugh. I-- purchased a modern bathing suit and heavens it shows so much skin." He called from their bathroom, where she'd changed into this monstrosity. Her entire THIGH was exposed with it! How women could dress like this today blew her mind in the best way.

When she walked out, she was wearing a modest one piece [scandalous for her] that came with a matching sunhat. The patterns on the suit were absolutely indicative of the eighties, with odd shapes, squiggles, and bright colors.

"Be honest. Does it look hideous? It's a lot of color, but the sales lady said this was the one piece of the summer. She kept trying to get me into a bikini of all things."
