Scholsen brotp? “I think I’m dying.” “Tell me you’re being dramatic, please”

“James?”

He hears Winn’svoice right when he steps into the room, and immediately sits down at hisbedside. There’s no other DEO personnel around, so he feels like it’s safe tostay there, at least until someone comes back to check on Winn.

“What’s going on?”

“James.” Winn says again, moredesperately, grabbing at his sleeve with the hand that wasn’t scratched byPestilence. “I think I’m dying.”

“Tell me you’rebeing dramatic, please.” James answers, shakily. He takes hold of that samehand, paying attention to how it’s trembling.

He holds it untilhe makes sure it’s steady again, placing it back against Winn’s chest.

“I’m sorry, butwhen you’re infected by a Worldkiller,I’m pretty sure even something this small is lethal.” Winn says. “You mightwant to prepare your goodbyes right now.”

James sighs,holding Winn’s shoulder as he looks into his eyes.

“I know everyonehere is working tirelessly trying to help you and Alex.” He answers. “They’renot giving up on you, and neither am I. You’re gonna get through this- we’regoing to be okay. Alright?”

“Spoken like ahero.” Winn answers. “A hero who has a lot more to worry about than checking upon someone who’s on death’s door.”

“Sorry, again.”James says. “And call me, the moment you’re cured. We’ll celebrate, alright?Bowling sound good?”

“I’ll look forwardto it.” Winn says. “Even in my last moments.”

James shakes hishead, pats his hand twice more, and gets up.

He can’t possiblyunderstand how much pain Winn’s going through- between what happened two weeksprior, and this- but that doesn’t mean he isn’t still worried about him.

He won’t stopbeing worried until he sees Winn at his desk again, instead of in that bed,looking halfway to death already.

is this the current run or the Greg Rucka one? I was looking forward to reading Rucka's take on Wonder Woman too..

Rucka’s run is very good! And Shea Fontana did some fill in issues after Rucka left the title. Those were also very solid.

It’s the current Robinson run that’s really, uh.

23. Favorite genre of video game?

i really DO love open world games, i love making a million characters and running around doing things that isn’t the main quest lol but i’m slowly getting burned out on them because they take so long to complete, though i do have a few exceptions in the future

action adventure like the tomb raider and uncharted series, first person shooters like battlefield 1 and destiny. 

i also discovered recently that i really enjoy platforming puzzle side scrollers, i haven’t played much of them yet but they’re really good to chill and zone out to instead of the intense focus of other games which…

soulsborne and metroidvania games, which are similar but i think have some differences, but those are definitely the ones that require intense focus and hella adrenaline rushes and a lot of patience. i haven’t expanded much beyond soulsborne yet but i def plan to

47 what food do you think should be banned from the universe?

Brussel sprouts. I absolutely hate them. Not the last time, but the time before that that my mom made me have them I threw up afterwards. And my mom had a friend over. She still doesn't believe me that they make me sick. She thinks I'm just getting myself worked up.
