Two Years Later || [[Lest/Trent]]
It had been over two years, since Lest first woke up in the Magnolia Clinic, with no clue as to how he got there- aside from a hazy memory of collapsing on a dirt road. It had taken him a while to remember his name- but once he had, he was fairly certain of it. However, other details- including his birthday, and his age- were complete blanks.
At the time, he had been told that his objective was recovery. Once he had regained some of his strength, he had been told that he should just take things one day at a time- and that eventually, his memories might return.
And take things one day at a time, Lest did. He asked around, of course- he hadn’t completely given up on figuring out his past. But, in the end, his casual efforts had yielded no results. Simply letting things be had done nothing to return his memories, either. He still had no idea who he was.
And so, even though it had been a long time, Lest made an appointment with Dr. Trent. He sat on the waiting room chair, staring at the ceiling, counting the spots out of mild boredom.
He wondered if today would yield any results. If not, he could always just consider it as a nice chat with a kind doctor.

Medical Professionals || [[Ford/Trent]]
“Hmm...”
Ford peered into a vial of murky liquid, shaking it back and forth a bit to test its viscosity. Normally, he did all his experimentation back on Leuda, but sometimes, he’d bring his personal work to Arcadia, to keep productive in between appointments.
“Took less time than last time... perhaps the finer granulation helped...” He took a few notes down in a small notebook. He muttered to himself, something about its consistency, and needing to iron out the details, if he was ever going to put this on the shelves. He was so absorbed in his work, that he didn’t notice when his ‘boss’ entered the clinic.
His ‘boss’. Ford never showed the man any intentional disrespect, but it was odd to think of him as truly having a higher position than him, seeing as they held roughly the same position, but on two different islands. Of course, he did defer to Trent’s decisions like any subordinate, but overall, saw him as more of a colleague than anything.

Head Over Heels [Lillie & Trent]
@doctortrent
Lillie wasn’t exactly what you’d call the outdoorsy type. Sure, she liked nature. It was calm and relaxing. It reminded her of home. But she was the last one you’d expect to go hiking for fun. Not that this could really be called hiking.
She had wandered out into the woods in Arcadia one day to check out a spot where they would be filming a commercial for some sort of medicine. Lillie didn’t really understand the details, just that she had to be cheery and look like she was having fun outdoors. She could do that.
At least, she thought she could. One wrong step ended up with her slipping on some mud and falling on her butt.
“Oww... This would so totally happen to me...”
Hopefully no one saw her...
Kitchen Adventures || Georgia & Trent
@doctortrent;
🐎 - “---and it actually came out great! Can you believe it? I think I’m startin’ to get the hang of this cooking thing.”
Georgia rambles on as she recounts her recent culinary achievements, having dropped by the clinic during Trent’s break. Since the good doctor had been the one to give her such useful cooking advice, she felt that he should be the first to know how her efforts turned out.
Plus, she promised she would.
“I know it’s just eggs but... hey, at least they didn’t stick this time! Tasted great, too. I consider that progress.”
Ouch! That Hurt! || Trent & Pia
@doctortrent
Walking looked simple enough. One in front of the other, right?
It was a matter of seconds. Only seconds before she was washed ashore - much like a beached whale - and her tail was traded in for a... a pair of legs?! Honestly, she was expecting to have to drag herself around, but now that she thought about it that wasn’t a good plan. Good thing they were one step ahead of her! ‘They’ was unimportant at the moment.
“Woah, woah, waaah!”
And face plant. She sat up and rubbed her nose, a sigh of frustration followed. Now covered in small cuts and bruises, she threw herself back on the sand. Ow! It wasn’t as soft as it looked. But it was better to lie there than continuously fall on her face.
Not Again - Karina and Trent
@doctortrent
Where am I...?
As soon as her green eyes fluttered open, Karina glanced around in vague confusion. This looked like a clinic, but not the one she normally went to on Leuda. The last thing she remembered was....
That’s right! I was on my way to see Clorica! (And I got lost....)
Trying to sit up, she winced, a hand moving to her head. Clearly, she had passed out while standing again. This was embarrassing... As she slowly managed to sit up, she heard a knock on the door and she felt a jolt of panic before she remembered that she couldn’t just leave without talking to a doctor first.
“Come in. I’m awake. (For now...)”
Scholarly Greetings - Kuruna & Trent
@doctortrent
Kuruna was still new to this whole teaching thing, but she felt like she was finally starting to get a better grasp on it. It still daunted her, being in front of so many unfamiliar faces. However, she tried to think of it as no different than teaching all the young ones who came in to the Univir settlement long ago. There were more people here, but they wanted to learn all the same.
As she started finding her way with her students, Kuruna started branching out and trying to get to know her co-workers as well. No matter what department, she loved surrounding herself with fellow scholars and gaining knowledge from them. Sharing information was a very important thing for her kind, what with the lack of technology and all, and she wanted to keep that tradition alive.
As she walked passed one of the open office doors, she found herself peeking inside to see if the occupant was around. As soon as she had confirmed that he was indeed present, she took a deep breath and then strode over to the door, lightly knocking on it, despite the fact it was already ajar.
“Greetings, Doctor. Might I borrow a moment of your time?”
