WAIT SPEAKING OF TWST THEORIES

Does anyone know why exactly nocturnal fae (for example, the diasomnia gang) are feared by the diurnal fae (the tiny fae from the fairy gala event) in the Twisted Wonderland universe? I mean, other than the clear reference to the three good fairies being scared of maleficent in sleeping beauty.

(Possibly more under the cut?? Its more of a ramble)

Okay so lets lay it flat first, nocturnal fae are feared by diurnal fae as silver mentions in the fairy gala (at the part where the nrc dormheads ask malleus to talk to the fairy queen so the tiny fairies can leave nrc) but i haven't exactly found any reasons WHY??

But I kind of have a theory?? If you can even call it that lmao anyways- but it prolly won't make sense if u haven't watched the movie "Strange Magic"

The diurnal/flowery fae being scared of nocturnal/non-flower related fae trope is repeated in another film owned by disney which is "Strange Magic" (2015) bc the production that made the movie got acquired by good ol' disney

Its not outright stated that the nocturnal/non-flower related creatures in the film like the Bog King are fae but we can kind of assume that they're fae??? Its a whole fantasy setting and there are a variety of fae in mythology that you can kind of see in the movie itself. Anyways, the reason why they (the nocturnal fae) are feared by the flowery fairies is bc the Bog King kidnapped and imprisoned this very important figure (The Sugar Plum Fairy) over a love potion that didn't work like he wanted it to

And considering her features are closer to the flowery fae in the movie, she's probably a diurnal fae.

So maybe something similar happened in the twst universe that caused the nocturnal and diurnal fae to have this kind of dynamic??
