Your blog confuses me. One minute you hate salt and the next you are posting it
I have clarified this in the past, but I will reiterate.
I hate salt that is used to Character bash. Like how people say that Marinette is a stalker or chat noir is a sexual harasser. Stuff that clearly isn't true and that they just say to demonize the character.
Salt as a form of critique, I.E. its initial purpose. Is fine. Where you point out issues in the writing, like for example, Adrien in Malediktator, where he was upset about Chloé leaving and made marinette feel bad for being happy about it. Thats a solid reason to be mad. Or how you feel that Marinette’s 50+ presents in advance is a tad excessive. Those are taking points from the show that can be commented on and say ‘Hey I don't like this bit, or find fault in it’.
So when I say I hate salt, I mean I hate unjustified bashing of characters. And sadly, most salt these days is bashing and not criticism.
