I would be okay with Jiara if they had hinted a potential relationship from the beginning... They just wrote what the fans insisted on and I hate seeing Kiara having a history with each boy, it just doesn't sit right with me I'm sorry

the likelihood of this being an Actual Curse? (and if it is, that brings up more questions such as can elves even Do That) or is it just C&C saying something that happens end up being true later? 

I mean, I’m all for the various interpretations/explanations as to what the Silmaril did to Beren and Luthien, I just think this is interesting.

a note - I really have to update my Table of Contents, but I also created a pseud on AO3 for fics that I’m not finishing (to create a separation between them and wips I have that I do intend to continue working on):

Currently what’s in there are the 3 toa fics I’m not getting back to, but I’ve also added Becoming the Protector of the City, bc honestly it doesn’t feel fun or good to me to write a mid-canon Penny fic about her character development right now.

I am capable of giving them a chance to expand on why they made the narrative decisions they did at the end of V8, but I have not forgotten nor forgiven them for it.
