here's my personal little headcanon concerning lore.nzini ven.igni name:
it's not his actual name
lore.nzini ven.igni is like if you had two surnames and one of them is spelled wrong or at least super uncommon. idk it's like if someone was called johnson zmith or something it doesn't add up. a more appropriate version would be lorenzo benigni (if real life norms would apply to a fantasy setting like li.es of p, of course you can just think of a name and roll with it, i'm not critizing that i'm just trying to explain my take~)
also i stumpled upon this one art piece in the lop artbook that has the usual ven.igni works poster but it's spelled benigni instead and even has little b's in the logo
so for me loren.zini ven.igni is his persona, his alias
(and yes his name could be an allusion to italian actors and people adjacent to the pinocchio story but i didn't factor in meta reasons here)
