The Dogs

Family dogs: (yes, all of them can fit in a four bedroom house)

11 years (November 21), Personal dog, retired service dog, Rhodesian Ridgeback mix

Buddy:

7 years (May 4th), Beagle, Dachshund, and Labrador mix

Max:

6 years (June 10th), Great Pyrenees, Malamute, and Husky mix, reactive to pretty much everything

Bella (1): (tagged as bellbell)

4 years (September 2nd), Chihuahua

Charly:

3 years (September 5), show & waterfowl lines Labrador Retriever

Maverick:

3 years (April 23rd), Max's baby brother, Pembroke Welsh Corgi

Stella:

1 year (July 13), Bella's (chihuahua) baby sister, bench Golden Retriever

A very nice trip home!

Lots of dogs (6), lots of snow (~16"), very cold (average of 2°F), and extremely gorgeous views through the blueberry fields and in the woods!

You've been on so many adventures, been in a wedding ceremony, welcomed so many new friends into the family, and did it all with a smile on your face

A shockingly pleasant family reunion this weekend! (+9 dogs)

#dog!rossi #dog!charly #dog!stella #dog!bellbell #dog!max #dog!maverick #and guests #although to be completely fair the three most loudly religious people didn't come so that helped #but yeah aside from being in a lot of physical pain the last day and a half it was very enjoyable #lots of time outside with the dogs. the kids all had a blast swimming and “hunting” in the woods #watched john wick with my grandma #tons of good food #went to the craft fair + seasonal shops that just opened again this weekend #didn't get a whole lot of sleep between the staying up late with the cousins and uncles my age and then waking up early to watch the sunrise #with my grandma and the older dogs #but that's okay #and came back last night to my gardens full of life so all around amazing weekend #+ Rossi's new medication/diet combo is working amazing and she only needed the good drugs on Saturday after spending the full day in town #and then that whole evening swimming #and even then she didn't strictly need them but after such a busy day (and the subsequent bathing since the lake just turned over and is #STANKY) i did want to be sure she wasn't going to be spending the whole night in pain (unlike me)#like i refilled her prescription to be sure i had enough for her to take every day if needed but she only needed a half dose on Sunday and #that's it #so honestly amazing #also i know I've already posted most of these photos throughout the weekend but YOU WILL SEE THEM AGAIN

Thinking about Bella, the 6 lbs Chihuahua, who can jump up onto the bed in the guest room that is nine times her hight with no issue

Yet Rossi, the 92 lbs Rhodesian Ridgeback, can't get on the same bed that she can rest her chin on
