Owner!Soap adopting Golden Retriever Hybrid!Reader as an emotional support companion for Great Pyrenees Hybrid!Ghost
Ghost, after many years of serving as a military K-9 hybrid, is always incredibly on edge, lashing out at other hybrids and humans alike when he gets nervous
(He’s not a violent dog, he doesn’t know why he bites)
So Soap, his handler in the 141, gets into contact with a local hybrid adoption centre and after a few weeks of red tape and paperwork, finally brings home Golden Retriever!Reader
Reader who calms Simon down when he’s stressed, cuddling him and licking into his mouth to try and appease the bigger hybrid, her little whines and huffs settling his nerves, the taste of her tongue licking languid stripes on the inside of his cheek stopping his growls
Getting in between him and other hybrids that get a bit too close when Soap takes them on walks, stepping in when she see’s his hackles raise, wagging her tail and smiling up at him as she snuggles into his chest, distracting him from the perceived threat and focusing his attention on her
Getting him to take out his pent up energy and frustration by letting him hump her into his their dog bed, tilting back her head and exposing her throat for him to lick, bite, mark, making him feel less tense and more in control as he dominates his pretty puppy
Acting as a weighted blanket to sooth him, settling on his lap to provide a comforting pressure and keep him grounded, sometimes even keeping his knot nice and warm inside her on bad days (suddenly making them MUCH better days)
On occasions such as New Year’s Eve, when the boom of the fireworks outside shoot out his nervous system and send him right back to the battlefield, his precious, perfect mate is there to sooth his nerves by taking everything he has to give, cross eyed and panting as he growls into her mouth, slobber dripping down her cheeks whilst he mercilessly ruts into her warm, wet, comforting hole
