Even the best trained dogs can do what they want when they want. They have thoughts and feelings just like us, and sometimes when they're so excited and so happy, they wanna go for a run around a field in the pouring rain even if you're yelling at them not to. Check out my dogs on their blog We're Not Pets, We're Family and on their Instagram too! | Rescue Blog

Hey people of dogblr!! My family just adopted a dog, she's a 4 year old pitbull. She's so sweet, but she has some bad habits. She's a bit of a leash tugger, and doesn't really listen to commands if she doesn't want to. She knows sit and stay but only does them when she wants. Are there some good videos or tips/instructions on basic dog training etc? I know trained dogs are always so happy and entertained and just full of life. Is there anything that will help her get used to being around cats and chickens? She's very anxious of dogs, mostly because she's very laid back and most dogs are pretty high energy. I just want her to be the happiest pupper!!
