Cap had several benign fatty tumors removed 2 weeks ago & he's been a fussy boy, but now he's had most of his stitches removed & we are having a relaxing afternoon. 🥰

how you guys doing? you good? i'm good. i'm going to one of those non-qualifying practice comps tomorrow, got a tricks workshop the day after. Next week I'm gonna steward at a HTM trial to better wrap my head around how it works and fight my own internal biases. The heelwork is proving to be way more difficult than obedience so learning loads about reward placement but I still hate pivot-box luring based methods over a platform-shaping method.

I actually went to a DWD workshop last weekend which was lots of fun even though I feel and look very clumsy and lost compared to everyone else because unlike formal obedience i have to move my hands and arms, had no idea who the trainer is but looked her up after and her heelwork is AMAZING and her dance routine so inspiring.

next month i'll enter our HTM starter ring and will see how it goes how it pans out. ive also got a motivation workshop to go to next week im super looking foward to since it covers coercive rewards.

i've cancelled a bunch of track and search and tracking trials cause im just a little tired and stressed and not in any rush to get that grand champ.

trying to convince one of my breeder to name her next litter after m/urderbot. not succeeding but you know i tried. speaking of one of the championships the BIS basically came down to between both my breeders and their individual breed and i am so pleased that i was so lucky to land surrounded by such consistent quality dogs like i get the pet ones from them sure but the ones in the ring are amazing.

Odin is doing well after his surgery! (Nothing serious, we just got him neutered) He has to wear this onesie so he doesn't pick at his stitches and it looks so cute on him! I want to buy a matching one for his brother, Loki (he's also a poodle but he's grey)

Hello everyone

I posted a bit ago about my dog going through heath problems. Truth is we’ve been going through this for a while and been recently trying knew treatment. However the past few days he has gotten worse and wasn’t reacting to the medicine well. He passed away yesterday after 12 years of being with us. He was a stray so his age is a mystery to us. He might have been older than we thought. He went away peacefully. Thank you for your support.

Levi is doing better, we found out he’s allergic to fish as well as all bird and egg 😰 it’s not going to be fun trying to feed him but I will have the mental space to start working on tiny Bruno adventures again soon

Today I finally get to take my dog into the vet to see about his possible kidney stones.

But of course I have to bring in a urine sample. I thought it would be easy, seeing as every single morning he pees on the same bush. I thought I could just catch it then. But, I guess this morning for some reason, he decided he did not want to pee on that bush for the 100th day in a row. And instead I had to chase him around with a cup hoping to catch some urine.

He of course enjoys peeing a little bit on every other bush and it's hard to tell when or if he is going too.

I've only got a little, so far and I don't know if it is enough lol. I've got about 2 hours left before we go in. 😩

Following my dog around with a plastic cup waiting for him to pee was not how I thought I would be spending the majority of my day, but here we are.
