Day 3 - First Snow of The Season

I miss No.6, I miss that that it was my first anime I watched at 12 and a that time it was so easy to empathize with Nezumi and Shion. At 16 I understood why Nezumi hated the place he lived in the place that killed his loved ones without concern just like the U.S. has done mine. I miss the books the most (if you have not read them I HIGHLY recommend it they have after the anime ends a Nezumi hospital trip all that it’s way more in depth). The show was turned into a BL and the story was ignored but really..it was about a society that began to put luxury and comfort over the worth of human lives to the point they would simply throw them in piles to get rid of them because they were inconvient. The story shows how people who are wronged can take on that persona and feel like that is what they are meant to be. It shows how you can never blindly trust things and how seeking out the truth is not for the weak and how TONS AND TONS of people would rather live in comfort knowing others suffer than sacrifice luxury to give to another. And the fact this wonderful story was thrown away for the two boys who shared two kisses pisses me off because this is what we are living. We aren’t at this level but this has been going on for a while and rather than pay attention to it we ignored it for the comfort of a forbidden love story....I miss the show I loved so much and the messages held within about human nature and yet I don’t even feel the story itself got the love it deserved
