it’s 4:00 in the morning where i am and instead of sleeping I made a sloppy animatic. Hoo boy.
Anyway, this video is about characters from one of my favorite dog books, titled “Doglands”.
For those unfamiliar with the book, this is the part where the main character, Furgul, and his sister have just escaped their abusive breeder, Deadbone (though Furgul’s sister suffered a gunshot wound while escaping) and are wandering the tunnels in the mountain. I think they’re supposed to be much smaller/younger in this scene, but idk how to draw puppies as their proper ages. Plus it’s been like, 6 years since I read the book.
It’s a seriously good book though and I highly recommend it.

Deduction: I am a bit...ashamed... to admit this about this seemingly boring looking, kidish book, but I actually REALLY liked it. The writing flowed well and made me really want to have the main character (yes, a dog) as my own pet. YES. Just try it.
