Hello there, this is a xenofiction centic blog I made because I wanted a place to share my writing process and ideas.

Currently I’m working on the draft of a three book series called Aviary that focases on cats. In the future I hope to finnish the triology and move onto some other books I have planned. These include another story about cats, a story about a pelican, and one about a lioness.

I will also try to post about any xenofiction media I’m consuming at the moment.

Disney + is insane, I wonder if it’s still going to be produced overseas like they are talking about. It’s for sure got to be a high quality production if Disney is going to have it though

I also wonder if it is on Disney + if it’s going to lead to a lot of people like entering the fandom? If I see one fight in 2 years about canon designs I’m going to lose it 😭

I think the read core is that I’ll probably never be happy with a warrior cat show unless I get to work on it a little bit LOL my fomo will be unmatched

Not a book so not a poll but I watched this the other day and it was pretty cute! Neat to see a movie starring whales :) the trailer isn't a great demonstration of the movie itself, as children's movie trailers are wont to be, but it's a nice way to spend an hour and a bit

I wanted to write a caption about how much I dislike baby yoda/Grogu and am sick of him because hes just another trapping of empty Disney marketing being forced everywhere because he's cute even though he's more of a prop than a character and the hype surrounding him feels very corporate and artificial but to be honest I just wanted to draw something offensive and mean spirited because my head and heart are poorly.

So I drew baby yoda getting mauled by a pit bull.

So wait are livestock guardian dogs to their flocks like… Clark Kent among the residents of Smallville? He’s been here since he was a baby, we all know him, and he’s… generally one-of-us shaped, uh, approximately. And then when something goes wrong he suddenly leaps into action and does some terrifying impossible shit none of us could do. And then comes back home and settles in like nothing happened and he’s one of us again.

Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (2002) deleted scene

Only a few pencil tests of a deleted scene where Spirit fights a rival stallion. This was replaced with Spirit fighting a mountain lion in the final film

This is kinda a test because I’m still very new to how tumblr works! I have dreams of eventually writing my own comic, so for practice I adapted the very first page(s) of gahoole into comic form! I’m still learning about the comic creating process and finding out what works for me. For now, have some silly owl drawings :D

The dialogue+story is from the original book series by Kathryn Lasky, though slightly modified by me to fit text box constraints :)
