Training 👑 . . I had the pleasure to work with the dog whisperer, Cesar Millan a few years ago. It was so much fun! . . Def one of my favorite makeup gigs before I retired. I knew he and I would get along really well. And we did. It’s actually my FB profile photo. . . I remember googling him to check out his skin tone for my kit and found a very cool interview with him and Eckart Tolle. . . Score! Two of my fav wise men. . . Eckart has a very subtle light humor to him. And Cesar is just like his pit bull, JR. Strong, stout, and tough. But a gentle giant inside. . . Eckart said I read an interview with you saying you were not as good with people as you are with dogs. . . Cesar said animals are my family. I’ve never been hurt by an animal. But people I had to learn how to communicate with my own kind. I can totally relate. . . Cesar said When I learned how to be present with people. It changed... same 📿 . . “Sometimes you need to be assertive. Other times you need to surrender.” . . Animals and humans are very much alike like this. . . I love his tagline “ I train people and rehabilitate dogs” . . I get it. And even though I teach how to quickly get into a place of unconditional love. I also teach how to hold your own, create boundaries, and yes - at times put somebody in their place. Especially if you never have before. It’s important to stand your ground. In a firm loving way. . . Being intuitive is not all puppies and kittens. It’s about paying attention to that instinctual side of yourself in order to be assertive or surrender. . . So that annoying nippy dog doesn’t keep biting you. If ya know what I mean... . . It’s all an energy game. .
