The Blades knew how hard it was going to gain allies because of the trust issues that came with anyone who was Galra. It was to be expected though because of the large empire that loomed over the entire universe, they were the main threat at the moment. Keith was the only one of the Blades that didn’t have the true Galran features because of him being a hybrid, it was unknown on what his other half was though. It was something that the Blades hadn’t seen before plus his mother had been very secretive about who his father was, it was a guessing game about that other half he was. Things did change a bit though once Kolivan decided on who would take his place as leader, there were plenty of young Blades who had talent. The older Blade had a tough decision to make, but the trials that he was going to put them through would help decided on the one that would take his place. Keith being one of them. 

Eventually though, the decision was made as Keith was the one picked to take Kolivan’s place. The other Blades agreed with his decision even though the raven was a bit concerned about being the one who was going to take Kolivan’s place. But there was reassurance from the ones who raised him into the warrior that he was today, they thought that he was the best choice though. It was the reassurance that he needed. Plus Keith had another advantage that the others didn’t, he had the Red Lion. It had been pure luck when she was discovered, but it was clear on who her paladin was going to be. She wasn’t going to let just anyone pilot her as the rest of the Blades failed to get her to respond. 

The decision had been made for see if they could gain some more allies which was why Keith was going to go to a nearby planet alone. He would be taking Red though since the rest of the organization knew how protective she could be over the young leader. Red would make sure that he would be okay if anything bad was going to happen to her paladin. 

Everything seemed to be going well with the ones that he was trying to become allies with until they discovered that he was Galra. That angered the alien race while Keith was trying to explain that he wasn’t with Zarkon’s empire, he was trying to stop them. But there was only so much that the Blades could do. It became clear that Keith was in danger here and needed to escape to Red as fast as possible. Of course though, he wasn’t able to escape in time. He had been captured and was in trouble while everything was yelling at Keith that he needed to get away. He needed to escape and get back to the Blades as gaining allies here was a failure. 

Things became a blur for Keith as the only thing that he felt was pain, it was hard for him to tell what happened because of it. Hands were held above his head which was slumped toward the left using his arm as support, rocks laid at his feet though being the aftermath of the attack from the aliens. They left the young leader tied to the post leaving him to suffer from the pain and the blood that stained his skin.

What’s your sweetest RP experience so far?

i’m not sure i can pin down just one sweetest rp experience? i’ve had so many for me the mun as well as for my muses. but i guess as a general sweet rp experience i could say that whenever my muses decide to settle down with that one muse who completes them. it doesn’t happen that often. none of my muses are the sorts who would settle down. but when they find that one person they turn into the biggest balls of fluff. it’s kind of frustrating given how much i love to write angst.

jacerefuses to talk about valentine, the events surrounding his death atlake lyn or his time as the owl demon. valentine brings nothing butpainful memories because of everything he did to him. the man drilledinto his head that to be loved is the one to be destroyed, and thatfeelings are a weakness. all of that made him avoid any sort ofrelationships that were longer than a one night stand. his death atlake lyn is just a reminder to him that their life could end at anymoment. while he doesn't fear death, he definitely has a healthyrespect for it. as for his time as the owl demon? it's a topic heavoids completely. jace feels a lot of guilt for nearly killing hisparabatai, nearly killing clary, and for killing all the mundanesthat lilith wanted him to kill. all of that guilt weighs on hisshoulders and he fully believes that alec should've killed him insideof his mind prison. with him dead he might've saved more people andhe might not have lost clary like he had.

         "i mean what i said---- what are you doing?" brows pulled together, gaze accusing. he wasn't sure what kieran was doing or what his intentions were, but seeing him begin to step into kit's room ( however borrowed ), felt like an invasion of privacy. not that kit had much in the room to call his own. it had been the only space in the manor where he could allow himself to fall apart and put himself back together. "everyone's meeting in the kitchen, not in there."

this is actually really interesting for me to delve into. magnus hasn’t ever really seemed to shy away from saying what happened with his mother and stepfather. hell, he practically told clary about it the first time they met — the first time she really remembers meeting him anyhow. that also goes into my headcanon where he felt more comfortable with her to say those types of things to her, but dkfsdk this isn’t about that. for the longest time, though, with magnus not being more open about his past that was why alec’s and his relationship was rather rocky in the beginning. some people would say it was alec’s fault solely, but it was both of their faults. again, not what this is really about. magnus will easily discuss some parts of his past, to elaborate stories, tell the more interesting/fun parts of his past. i do think it’s hard for him to speak about his mother because the few times he has mentioned it, he has waved it off and moved the discussion along off of that topic.he also doesn’t really tend to talk about relationships from his past that much, at least not the ones where he was in love with them. camille is different in the sense she came back into his life and caused some bumps in the road ( more like potholes ) but how he just seemed on the defense when she brought up will or how in some discussions played off his past.

this got longer than i meant it to. so basically, in the beginning, he’s more standoffish about his past until eventually, he opened up more to alec.. i.e. the book he gave him, what he had written throughout the years. which, i think he did because it’s easier to just have alec read it than to say it all out loud, but that’s my stand on it. (:
