Have you noticed that the start of the year is filled with excitement about change + setting goals that we plan to accomplish, but toward the end of January, motivation is trickling out the window? Or we have a setback and find it difficult to get back on the horse? Or we set crazy high expectations for ourselves + when we don't see quick results, we think we're inadequate and give up? Either way, this is the time when we start to forget our resolutions + turn back to what we were trying to turn away from. This week I was guilty of this 🥴 I had a migraine that kicked my butt + when I started to feel better my motivation tank was low. I had two choices: 1) Do what I've always done in my past + give up + complain the rest of the year that nothing was going my way/changing. OR 2) Pity party if need be + then get back to work on the plan to complete the goal. If you're reading this it's not too late because I choose option 2.
