"Nothing makes a woman more beautiful than the belief that she is beautiful." 💋 I read a post(and a few comments) the other day where a man asked “who can still look pretty without weave and lashes?” Of course I was I intrigued by the response… Sadly, so many responses/comments seemed to berate a woman’s chose to rock a weave and/or lash extensions saying they/we/me must be insecure or lack confidence and it made me sad to think that in 2021…after all we have been through and are still battling…that men and women still take comfort on belittling someone else for the choices they make that truly should have no baring on their life!! Wig, Weave, Faded, or Braided does not define a woman’s beauty…never has and never will! The power to choose a hairstyle that accents our mood for the day or month or even the year is a reflection of confidence! Beauty is exuded in the way a woman carriers herself and not in the way she chooses to style her hair or deciding to accentuate the beauty found in her eyes with lash extensions! As I’ve gotten older and more comfortable on my own skin, I can appreciate being able to “switch it up” and still be ME!!!
