I haven't seen The Lego Batman movie yet, but I was wondering is it implied or outright known if its THE same Batman from The Lego Movie? Like any namedrops or callbacks to it? I'm going to see it anyway, but I thought it would be cool if they were part of the same continuity.

FUCK i never responded to this!!!! i’m pretty sure it’s supposed to be the same Batman BUT i think this movie... predates the Lego Movie with the internal chronology?? i’m not actually sure, cuz it’s pretty self-contained! if you haven’t seen it yet HAVE FUN!!!!!! :D :D

You know, we always think about what Team Arrows reactions would be if Laurel came back. And we have that one show staff excerpt floating around saying that "she is alive and well and it might have to do with flashpoint". If its really Earth-1 Laurel that somehow comes back. Imagine after all the shit/stress Barry has got for Flashpoint, that finally something major and undeniably good came of it. At the very least he made an old friend came back. He may not be super close to her but still.

Yeah, it would be really nice. Barry gets too much shit. I hate those that hate on Barry for “fucking up the timeline.” Those that judge him for his decision. Yes, he messed up. But, fuck. Who wouldn’t do the same thing he did if they were in the same position with the same abilities? I’m sure the people who drag Barry to paint Oliver as a better hero would want to fix the timeline if Felicity was dead, and would be okay if a whole string of consequences took place that fucked everyone’s life up if it was to revive Olicity. 

I’m really happy that Oliver said the same thing about it. That he understands why Barry did it and would do the same and can’t judge him for it. Man, The Flash writers have a way of writing the best versions of these characters. 

Anyway, getting a bit of topic. I agree. I think if something as big as Laurel somehow surviving, or Flashpoint being able to give us some iteration of our Laurel in this present timeline, then Barry would be able to have something good come out of Flashpoint. There’s a lot of things they can do and a lot of different reactions we can see when it comes to Laurel coming back. And I’m really excited for it, no matter what it is tbh.

So Black Siren crack theory: The new description for The Flash part of Invasion! talks about a Flashpoint secret being revealed and people not knowing who they an trust. Cait is becoming "evil" for some reason, and her E-2 counterpart died, like shes inheriting some of her dead counterparts personality traits, so maybe the same thing is happening with E-2 Laurel- she inherents personality traits of E-1 Laurel. Doesnt make THAT much sense but then again w/ Flashpoint, what does?

I think the Flashpoint secret is about Diggle and his family. I think they mentioned that Diggle would find out and we’d see his reaction to it. I, for one, think that’s ridiculous because Diggle doesn’t remember having a daughter so if he gives anyone grief about it then I’m going to be over here scratching my head, haha. But in terms of how Flashpoint can affect whoever Katie is playing this season, then I still think anything can happen. It’s a hard device to speculate over when the possibilities truly are endless.

I think the inclusion of Rory/Ragman on the new team adds to the possibility of Black Siren joining, as it shows the show staff are open to having someone with actual super powers on the team. Prior everyone else are people who pretty much have "normal" weapons and abilities or tech and less "fantastical" elements. And they also did mention wanting to make this season more "grounded" but hey we got bullet catching invincible clothing!

Definitely. But I also think outside of the canary cry having some CGI effects now, it’s not that much different. I think Black Siren having powers never really kept her from being a potential Team Arrow member. It’s more or less whether she’s on a path of redemption or wants to destroy the world, haha.
