I’m learning how to take up space… tenderly 🦢ིྀི ⋆｡ﾟ☁︎｡⋆｡˚

This summer I’ve been learning how to make room for myself amongst people. I’ve always labeled myself as a person usually in the background of social events until I find my little group of people (mostly of two or three). Despite that, I feel like I’ve been growing in being less harsh on myself in things I’m usually bad at (being social), and instead focusing on the good things about it. It leads me not only to be comfortable with myself and what I’m capable of, but also make room for that improvement I wasn’t aware of until now. I’m so much more open to people I’d normally shrink away to. And whenever it gets too much, or when that person that’s out of my league tries to connect with me and I do end up shying away, I don’t internally hurt myself, but instead turn that hurt into acknowledgment and patience.

Got the cutest skirt today! > < °•🍒~*.

I tried looking everywhere for a nice shirt that could go well, but there was no luck. Either way! I’ve been wanting a denim skirt for who knows how long. I can’t wait to style it up and dress up for funsies~

Today feels so much like a cherry day. Not so sure why, it’s got that kind of vibe. I love cherries :D hehe

The heart of an artist.

Gosh, I don’t know when it was the last time I drew something! The familiarity of letting my hands create something overflowed the more I focused on this sketch. You know, I still struggle a lot with coming up with original art work, but I know practice will help a bunch with that!

This is more or so the artist persona of myself- well, what Doki was before I ever took the name itself. She started off as an original character, something opposite of myself. She’s outgoing, changes her hair often, and explores many different kinds of fashion statements- the side of the coin I don’t think I’ll ever get to explore due to my current lifestyle. I think I’ll start sharing more of her to fully bring the pieces together.

Anyway~ I’m about half asleep now, so I’ll be catching up on my Z’s ^^

Outfit Of The Day

This might be my favorite outfit of this month! The pink compliments so well with the blue skirt. Plus, I had the opportunity to showcase my favorite style of clothing~ I’m obsessing over it so much > <!

Though, I keep thinking what other colors might go well with the skirt piece, so any suggestions are very greatly appreciated!
