                   † - for a religion headcanon

Lux struggles with her faith a lot - particularly when she’s younger and still living with her mother. She resents how constricting her mother’s faith is and she hates having to go to church - but that’s less because of the religion and more because of the rules her mother puts in place - not that she understands this in the beginning. She associates church and religion with her mother and control and she doesn’t want that at all - so she rejects pretty much everything to do with her faith until she’s quite a lot older - when she’s had time to process it and everything.

When she is older, she comes to the decision that she’s agnostic. She’s not sure what she believes, but she does believe in something.

    another night, another bar, another girl he’s not sure he remembers the name of. hands on her hips, bodies pressed close to one another outside in the alleyway next to the bar. it smells like liquor, he’s a little tipsy, but that’s the last thing on his mind. lips brush against her jawline, one hand slipping underneath the fabric of her shirt. his lips trail, trail, trail down until they find her neck. he should probably remember what her name is.
