I'm excited for a new collection as it's been quite a while (and my blog was completely dead this summer).

Aurora: It's great for the Aurora Blue Dress truthers to get another doll amongust the masses of pink but her crown is tiny and the tulle skirt is certainly inspired but not the right choice.

Giselle: The only one I'm considering as this is her only release in this size that's not D23. She is pretty simple I feel compared to some of the more creative decisions that designer series normally undertake but it works for her. The only nitpick I have for her is the headpiece doesn"t work but I guess they want to make it interesting among the billions of crowns and tiaras but regardless she will sell well for definate.

Belle: I can't say to much as I have never been particularly keen on Belle dolls at the best of times due to how her hair and dress (for her yellow ball gown look anyway) never get it that close. She is better than last designers but feels like another lacklustre yellow dress. To be fair I have given up with her mostly but atleast every doll will be no way near as bad as the Emma Watson doll.

Tinkerbell: Not keen on the face as tink is hard to get right (same as alice) but she feels to older and serious. I like the cape and wings but she seems a little washed out. I'm sure the legions of her fans will buy her. (bring back tinkerbell's friends).

Esmerelda: I'll cut to the chase she looks way to much like midnight masquerade. Which I guess if you missed her but even then it's not as good. Considering this could of been the first time to design somethinf 100% new and original for her I feel disappointed because Esmerelda is always incredibly pretty.

In conclusion I'm really excited to see another line especially as last designers was my first time buying.

Alternating lip colour between artwork and foll is a little odd but venus lip colours are simply divine.

Finally! We get additional hands after they were deemed too scary.

The jackets are so cute and remind me of how in G1 all the boys had unique symbols their jackets.

Venus's black turtleneck and Abbey's purple cardigan are just nice.

Abbey's chainsaw is nice to see again after its appearance in G1. Additionally, I think having her be part of art club is much less cliche than her being an ice skater.

At this point pride is more the time when this is meant to release or potentially a codename as this doll doesn't even mention pride on the back

I love the car box but that fur behind while sick is its actual fur which it looks like its stuck to the box only not on the doll.

Her makeup is an improvement but I swear her eyes got bigger.

She is great if you want an Elvira and missed out but for the price she is pretty safe typical mattel.
