Greetings, my friends! 

It’s spring! The season of flowers! So Anastacia is holding an online tea party and everyone is invited! The party is scheduled for 21st of May 2026, international tea day, on the #CritterTeaParty2026 tag :D

Now you might be thinking “Online tea party? What’s that?” or “Do i have to RSVP?” or even “Why are you in my house?!” and those are all very relevant questions! So let me answer some of them below:

What’s an online tea party?

It’s basically a 1 day challenge where you post you or your doll having tea, preparing for the event or on the way to the party.

Is there any kind of reward for doing this?

Not really! I’ll try to reblog every post made and i encourage everyone to do the same. But this is really just an excuse to post doll pictures and look at everyone else’s dolls too XD

What should my post include?

You should include at least 1 picture (photo, fanart, edit, etc.) with/of your doll, mentioning tea and flowers. Please treat “tea” and “flower” as themes! Don’t have flowers? Dress up the doll in a floral dress or just say the tea is a flower blend! You don’t have a tea set for your doll or yourself? That’s fine too, use an empty mug! Hell, just post a picture of your doll and say a mischievous imp is trying to sabotage you, drank all your tea and stole all your flowers... Honestly, why do they keep doing that? How rude of them!

Are the only dolls/toys i can use sylvanian families/calico critters?

No, you can use whatever toy, action figure, doll or plushy you want. Forest Families, Lil/Woodzez, MLP, Barbie and every other toy is welcome. Anastacia considers them all friends!

Do i have to RSVP in any way?

No! Simply make a post with the hashtag #CritterTeaParty2026 or tag me (this blog or my main) on the day and CONGRATS!!! you made it to the party! I’ll try to reblog everyone who makes a post about it. And if you post a little late don’t worry, i’ll try to keep tabs on my mentions and the tag :]

Doll Challenge

Was inspired by Monster High for the doll style and packaging. Tried my best to lean into the doll’s artstyle. These are the references I used. BTW, the two retrievers in the packaging are actually based off of my dogs, George (the grumpy one) and Rooster (the permanent baby face).

I’m a little late to the dress-your-doll-like-you challenge, but today was my first day off since it started. None of my dolls really look like me (I would have to make a CYO as there are no Truly Mes present or retired with my feature combo and as of now I don’t feel too enticed to spend $200 on a doll version of myself), but Michele- my 2008 JLY 27 with the earrings that don’t come out- comes the closest, so I used her. Even though my own ears aren’t pierced. ☺️

This outfit is very close to what my dream meet outfit would be. I actually own white pants very similar to these, and I wish I owned that top. I’d just add a doll version of the nautical necklace I have and change the silver bag to the much more colorful pastel backpack I carry my life around in from work to music rehearsals and back. My hair is 99% of the time in a ponytail or braid like this too. It’s very much a late spring/first hints of summer outfit, which is one of my favorite times of year and also when my birthday is, so it’s truly when I begin anew and am in my element. Now for this cold seemingly endless winter to be over so we can get there and I can dress like this again! ❤️

Since I have a few days off of work, I decided to do this doll photography challenge! I need more motivation to actually photograph my dolls lol
