Dolloween Day 8: Spooky LaLaLoopsy
At her dad's house, Courtney has her own bedroom, and has plenty of room to play with her pet guinea pig, Parsley. She's feeding him his favorite treat......... parsley leaves!
Parsley was a gift to Courtney from her dad. Courtney's stepsister Tina thinks guinea pigs are gross and smelly, and hates sharing a room with Parsley, but after she gets to know him she thinks he's okay. And he doesn't smell bad if Courtney cleans out his cage every day.
I made Parsley from some faux fur and plush fleece, based on the one in Courtney's collection. He turned out pretty cute, didn't he? I made him a bit bigger and more realistically sized than the American Girl brand guinea pig. I used this free pattern.
Bonus Ashley new prosthetic leg content! Featuring her service dog, Windy.
I crocheted her dog, Windy, a stylized harness with bags and yellow labels. The bags hold Windy's orange collar and a small teal ball :). They can probably hold her leash, as well.
Ashley probably didn't necessarily need a service dog, but what little girl doll doesn't want a pet. Windy has a My Little Pony inspired name, but I didn't manage to finish brainstorming... it also sounds like Wendy! I chose the dog with colored ears and a colored tail because I know people with service dogs dye their fur :) which is so cute. I also did research on Windy's harness, although it's kind of doll stylized- most harnesses aren't made of yarn. I think Windy has the prettiest bisexual colors!
Hi everybody for week 4 of @agrosehamada ‘s photo challenge AG Spring has Sprung 2024 the theme is pets so I took this photo of Claudie and her dog Dizzy Dot. I like to think that the pair is relaxing after a performance and Dizzy Dot wanted to try on Claudie’s headdress. I hope that you like my photo I can’t wait to see everybody else’s photos. Image Description: a photo of an American Girl doll wearing a gold sequin dress and cape sitting down with a dog next to her wearing a sparkly gold headband.
My dolls were all a-flutter when I returned from the Brimfield antiques market today, and it’s no wonder! Meet their new friend and stalwart companion, Arlequin the dog (say “ahr-luh-KEN”).
Probably made in the 1870s, he’s the softest velvet-furred boy you can find (literally). His little pink blep-tongue betrays a total lack of brain cells, but he makes up for it in loyalty to his many new little Mamas. And I think I get several Doll Guardian Points for adopting him, if I do say so myself.
Our only Bratzilla, Cloetta Spelletta, and her pet Barkthalameow.
