New Dark Faerie Doll Stands

After getting a wonderful compliment on my last doll stands I was inspired to create another three, this time I wanted to lean more towards the dark faeries and made the stands using darker colours than my previous one which were more “Good Faerie” orientated.

I just started using this invisible doll stand.

Boom! Stand’s done!

I’m not the best painter in the world, I probably should have thinned my paints a bit more(rather than forgetting to do that 1/3 way in).

Yeah, I’m a big dork and painted it to look like the delta rune. I was going to just stain the wood, but then I found this heart shaped plaque at Michael’s and knew what had to be done.

So, this is made with a wooden plaque, a wooden dowel, some floral wire and tiny bit of polymorph plastic on the tips of the grippy part. Painted with acrylic paint. I was too lazy to go dig out my snowed in shed and get my varnish out so I sealed everything in Mod Podge.

Discounting the painting time, this took about an hour to make. A few hours with the painting/drying time. Honestly, this was ridiculously easy and will probably make more for future dolls.

I made a fall themed diorama for Kade! It’s not in scale with him at all but it was fun to make. :)
