I finally had good weather in my area to be able to spray my finished face-ups/touch-ups/painted accessories with Mr. Superclear. Thank you @oak23 for mentioning warming up the can before using it. It goes on so much easier and didn’t cloud at all.

Since you washed Fritta- did you have any trouble keeping her hair styled with no product?

Thank you for the question, I’ll do my best to answer it. :) I carefully washed out her hair and tried to not tug on the pink strands making up her little loop-ies (you could probably stick small pieces of straw under both loops to keep them from being pulled out…..hmm…).

For her curls in her pigtails, they loosened a bit (but that could be avoided if you put straws/curlers in and allowed it dry after you washed it). I did kinda curl them (by twisting the hair) when I laid her down on a drying mat and they remained lightly curly. Her hair is so similar to the Rainbow High girls, that it seems to hold curls pretty easily. The last photo of Flitta in the review is after I washed her.

Doll tips for some positivity from some bullshit: 1) To get rid of gel in the hair if you want to style them or have them be more stylish (which I do with most of my Disney dolls now), you wash them with cold wash and conditioner. 2) For frizzy ends sometimes, I would either use fabric softener to wash it or cut off the frizzy end at the tips to make it even. ) For body swaps, I grab a Ziploc bag and dunk the head in boiling water to avoid getting the face mold wet.

Those are all really great tips! :) I want to get into remaking dolls so we could finally have toys of Lucky Girl and Charmcaster!

Pullip Merl - Pullip Merl is very recommendable for starters because she is very versatile, she has natural face and she is good for any styles, like casual, lolita, gothic, preppy etc. This beauty is definitely on my top list and she has a very reasonable price for a starter, plus she reminds me of Aph Belarus in a way.

Pullip Tiphona - Pullip Tiphona is very recommendable next to Merl. Why did I chose her as a starter doll? Because she has a lovely stock and another reasonable price for a beautiful doll. If you are onto lolita fashion, this is a good choice

Pullip Meg - Pullip Meg is a rather simple and old-fashioned with cute freckles. I highly recommend her because she is versatile and is very sweet-looking.

Pullip Bloody Red Hood - while most reviews I see before on youtube, others don’t recommend BHR as their first Pullip due to her dress and bow frays, I would suggest if you want her as your first Pullip then you should be extra careful when handling her. Though her faceup is versatile and straight hair is smooth and lovely burgundy color, she is also unique and one of the elegant looking Pullips I’ve seen

Pullip MIO kit - if none of the list above interest you, make your own doll. It’s rather fun making them letting your creative juice flow out, putting hard time and labor of love into your doll. You can create your OCs and you can watch the tutorial on youtube or search google. Also this is around 35-38$ so very reasonable and good
