Avaline's name means "little bird" or breath of life to fit with the bird motif and A-theming Adam and Abel has. Likewise Evangeline's middle name is Katelyn, hence the phrase "kate and ava = cain and abel". On that note, most of the women on their grandma's side have names that end with -ine or -een (florentine, pauline. odine, maureen, etc)

What if Prince Charming got a redemption arc in Shrek the 3rd, like how Frozen 2 could've done for Hans?

First I'd rewrite that whole movie to where we get introduced to his dad a dashing rogue who is also a retired "Prince Charming." We'll call him Prince Bruce because Bruce Campbell is his voice claim.

SO Prince Bruce wants to help his kid rebuild his reputation. So when the villains invade Far Far Away SOMEHOW Charming is able to handle the situation fairly easy while the Royal Family goes into hiding. People start to treat him seriously him again and everything is going great.

BUT soon Prince Bruce starts displaying shady behavior. Charming remains ignorant of this only concerned with his rediscovered wealth. Prince Bruce return with 'evidence' of Shrek being a traitor to the Crown and had him captured and brought back to the city to be tried. Really he just wants his son to kill the ogre to remove one less obstacle to their route of becoming king. Charming is elated to have a chance to get revenge on Shrek. Excited at his prospects He goes to one of his mom's old friends a fortune teller, who warns Charming about a falling tower (his canon!fate) and this sows a seed of doubt in the prince.

The night of Shrek's execution trial starts. Charming is nervous over the teller's ominous message but steels himself and goes out to perform the play. Before he could stab Shrek the heroes crash the even. Fiona begs Charming not to do it, Artie adding that their father Uther Pendragon is just using him. Charming scoffs at this accusation and turns to his dad and gives him the crown. But Bruce doesn't deny it, and in the heat of the moment confesses that he did want Charming on the throne but not actually ruling - even admitting he found him to be too much of a dunce to make any good decisions. He also had the whole villain invasion plotted out beforehand, intending to imprison them all once Charming sat on the throne.

Realizing his father's true colors Charming becomes despondent and drops his sword. He looks at his reflection in the crown in his hands and for the first time, the Golden Prince did not like what he see. To everyone's surprise the younger Charming makes a move to give the crown back to Fiona. Unfortunately Uther snatches it out his hands & grabs the sword to finish the job. He and Shrek tussle a bit, the ogre pushing him into the tower prop. As it collapses Artie manages to pull Charming away just time as the tower falls on Uther. Who only survives through the window passing over him. Uther passes out from the shock and as he hits the ground the crown rolls over to Artie's feet and picks it up. Charming steps aside and bows with everyone else at the new King. He gives himself up peaceful and after serving time Charming is given a pardon and he goes back to his mom's factory and remodels it as a beauty salon. Hiring the reformed villains so that anyone and EVERYONE can lool and feel beautiful as he!

So Charming has an arc where he basically learns how to adult and an ending that makes sense! Him becoming a stylist reinforces the "you can choose your own path" message the movie tried to sell. We explore the theme of parenthood by having Charming involved in toxic manipulation to contrast Shrek and Artie's genuine friendship. Toxic masculinity and what it means to be mature. Prince Bruce/Uther is basically if Charming never learned personal accountability.

Also Charming is not linked with Rapunzel bc it was totally out of the blue 😂 So he'll be paired up with an OC who does play a big role in his redemption and is the Odile to Rhodanthe's Odette

Genevieve Colton: Grandchild of Joe Colton and the og Gi Nurse. Fiery spunky, literal ray of sunshine who dislikes the nepotism but isn't above using it to get herself out of a pinch. Works as a reporter; hates corporate news and hopes to bring back integrity to the business. Is often Duke's love interest.

Siren Call/Melody Jones: Singer who joined the Joes after being freed from a Cobra controlled region. Not Satin, though takes cues from her. Her voice is said to be so enchanting thay it lures men to their deaths.

Silent Knight/Mary Smith: A devout Christian and woman of few words. Studied a variety of western sword styles. She's actually a lot more shady than the seemingly passive religious doormat people assume her to be

Nitelite/Xandra Harrison: Rookie, used to work in rave parties before realizing her work in electricity can help save lives. Functions for night based rescue missions.

Spell-Lunky/Meredith Rogers: Actual Witch; in her spare time spelunks in caves to look for rare crystals. Ran away from a Cobra-controller region to avoid exploitation.

Shawnee: Former high school wrestling champ who became a freelance agent/bounty hunter/private detective. Doesn't like the military all that much but willing to work with them against Cobra. Os related to Roadblock and Heavy Duty.

Risa: Heiress of a Japanese business and childhood friend of Tomisaburo Arashikage & Snake Eyes. Was betrothed to the latter until she cut the engagement, refusing to be a part of Cobra. Eventually left to live in California and worked in therapy. Allied with the Joes.

Do you headcanon Sonic is an morally ambiguous character?

No. Black Knight's portrayal receives a lot of buzz over him saying he doesn't mind playing the villain now and then, but fans tend to read into that too literally. He's referring to how others perceive him and that he considers it no big deal if he's doing what he feels is right (the only exception to this is when he's been painted as something he's not, or framed for something he didn't do).

Sonic is a hero through and through. He just so happens to also be ruthless with villains when he deems it necessary, and he does heroic feats not out of a sense of obligation, but because he just wants to do it. In Black Knight's case, despite Sonic's image to the cast in-universe, we - the audience - know that he's making the best decision without a doubt.

Being a true blue hero with his characteristics is part of what makes Sonic unique. Making him go full anti-hero flattens his character and appeal, in the same way that Mr. Principles from IDW reduces him to the superhero mentality when the entire point is that he doesn't operate with that mindset.

astro boy 2009 rewrite

Its closer to canon with astro getting rejected by tenma, who is later institutionalized. He away and ends up at Hamegg's circus. Instead of orphans, cora's group consists of robots that were banned by the science institution and Cora is their mechanic. Cora was supposed to be chinese in original drafts of the film so I added it here. Cora is actually the daughter if President Stone. The real reason why she ran away was because she didn't agree with his plans for the surface so she left to gather a resistance. That way Cora has a justified reason for leaving the surface instead of "im rebelling agaisnt by perfectly normal parents" she's escaping a straight up monster. It also makes Stone more evil, whereas Tenma was driven by grief and Elefun sees Astro as his own son, Stone treats his flesh and blood daughter as a tool. Cora believes Hamegg is trustworthy but reality he is on her father's payroll. Of course when his ruse is exposed she is horrified, but Hamegg contacts the president and she is taken back home. Astro is found by Elefun and after getting repaired is encouraged to save Cora. The Peacekeeper is renamed Peacekeeper for the Legacy Utopia aka PLUTO. I take inspo from the manga pluto by having his pluto be unwillinf to fight but forced to due to his programming. PRESIDENT stone sends Pluto to the surface byr Asyro stops him, they fight but astro manages to convince pluto he is morenthan his programming, they rescue Cora and Stone is nearly killed bur astro saves him last minute and he is arrested. Cora is emancipated and Elefun is elected as the new president of Metro City. In the sequel, Astro is a celebrated hero and Cora is overseeing cleanup efforts on te surface. astro but he feels kinda lonely so Elefun creates a sister for him - Uran. Uran proves to be a handful but akso surprisingly useful. Meanwhile a wealthy business plans to make a shuttle to the moon. Cora meets a blast from the past in thr form of Daichi - her fiance. Their fathers had arranged marriage for them but Cora doesn't like daichi in that way. Unknown to her, Daichi is actually a robot rebuiit after the original died. Upong learning that hus crush was engaged Astro starts to feel jealous. Meanwhile a mysterious robot named atlas is destroying factories so Astro is tasked to stopping him. If you saw the 2003 vesion tou would already know Daichi IS atlas. There is another reason - before he died, Daichi had feel in love with a servant robot named Livian. but his father was outraged as he wanted him to follow through with rhe engagement. One night Daichi and Livian decided to elop by taking a shuttle to the surface to start a new love but were injured. Daichi died and Livian was destroyed. The business was so distraught he begged Tenma to revive his son, so tenma uses red core to bring daichi back to life. Upon being brought back daichi finds Livians parts. To avenge her, he begins attacking factories belonging to his dad as well as blue core to revive his lover. Daichi plans to follow his request to marry cors but in reality he pland to use her as a vessel for Livian. He ends up kidnapping her and taking her to the moon. She finds Livian hooked up to a machine and asks Atlas if this is what she would want. Astro arrives to save Cora and in the fight the business tries to kill atlas but the shuttle breaks apart, atlas saves his dad. Cora uses a piece of blue core necklace that Astro gave her and wake Livian. Asteo and cora return to earth atlas and livian remain on the moon. Parlty since atlas actions had him banned from earth. But he is happy. Cora and astro boy comfess their feelings for each other and daichi's dad relinsiwhes control of the company and goes into exile.

In my rewrite willow is the daughter of princess kaila and an Xiaolin warrior from Australia. The reason for this is aside from.similar facial structure they also qear whire and gold outfirs, willow is a type kf tree and kaila's crown is made up of leaves. Chase young battled her parents to test their powers, during the fight Iwllows life ks put in danger forcing her parends to surrender. Chase captures her dad and traps Kaila in the yin yang world. Willow offers to become his apprentice in exchange for her mom's freedom. As usual her attack is a set up but this time willow grows to generally care avout the monks. She especially grows clsoer to Clay but is afraid to tell the truth. While she comes to relax and walls start breaking fown, the truth is revealed and she is kicked out. But Raimundo senses sownthi f deeper is gojng on behind the scenes and learns moee about her situation. So the monks decided to help her. After kaila is freed the monks are given the new temple, thus is where s2 takes place. Willow becomes the dragon of nature one HER NAME, two so there could be another girl on the team. Thus doesnt have anything to do w8th my other rewrite with Willow Jean and Antonia Perrine as thks one is specifically more in line with the show with a twist. Willow's shadow for is the same as her regular human form except she wears the heylin apprentice robes (fhe ones omi wore back when he was corrupted) and her hair turns a deep shade of purple. THERE IS NO ROMANCE BETWEEN HER AND CHASE. no uncomfortable abuse allegory either. In fact, Chase is paired with my oc/self insert, a Xiaolin teacher. Whether she appears in this reweite is unknown but let it be known there is no chase x shadow bullshit.

in my personal rewrite kaila and willow are mother and daughter. I simply combiend Kaila and Nui and Eon doesnt exist, instead a warrior from Australia is willow's dad, which explains why shadow has an aussie accent. The twist here is willow only works for Chase to free her mother and has a genuine friendship with the monks but is too afraid to tell the truth. Then after eveyrhing is resolved she becomes the dragon of nature or balance.

Or shadow could be a reincarnated Nui which explains Chase's "feelings" and had s2 been made shadow would have learned of this ans syrugfles to accept the fact she used to be a hero and maybe a slight possibility of redemption?

Where ive been

Hey guys youre probably wondering where for the past weeks. Let me start by saying i wont be active here much anymore since im currently taking classes and one of them requires me to show up in person. Besides my job, I'm also taking swimming classes down at the nearby gym. I said before i am working to heal myself and deconstruct my condverstive upbringing after seeing how bitchy i was here and in my real life. Excuse the harsh language but Sometimes the only way to start healing is by admitting you suck. But I'm trying. At least. I dont come here nor twitter because a lot of my toxic traits came from being on that sire so im mostly on deviantart now as that place calmed down and i dont get into much trouble there. I dont expect forgiveness and honestly, i dont deserve it. Forveiness isnt soemthing im owed and i need to accept that i can still grow and become a better person without it.
