Had an awesome time at ArlingCon today and won the Dollar Store Champion contest! The rules were we had $30 to make a cosplay with items that were under $1 each. I decided to do the broadway version of Ursula! The wig is tissue paper glued onto a hair towel, the arms are luffas unraveled. I used a base corset with a plastic table cloth for the dress and skirt and glued on pieces of gift bag for the green scales. The tentacles are pool noodles with gift wrapping stuck in them. I did this all in about 4-5 hours due to power outages. Everyone who entered had amazing costumes and I loved all the creativity!
