Found some lovely gems on Dollyteria recently, including an ALG shirt that I've always wanted since I started in the hobby, as well as some red eyes and Golem's glass eyes! It's always fun to find items I like on the secondhand market, isn't it? Let me know if you have a fave from today's haul, or if you personally have items you look out for on the secondhand market~

Finally went to pick up my first Dollyteria order. It had arrived on Monday but no one was home when the postman came round and only had time to go to the post office this morning.

Everything is in great condition even though they are supposed to be second-hand and I’m glad the kariginu comes with instructions on how to put it on. It also isn’t missing a belt for the outer layer like I’d feared. There’s actually a sort of hidden belt sown into the outer layer.

Anyway, should try these outfits out but don’t feel like doing so right now. Also need to actually organize my display shelf…

Made my first Dollyteria order last week. I was just browsing it out of curiosity since I've heard that it's a great place to get second hand dolls and doll things. I did find quite a number of things that I really want, including a grail doll or two...! I'm really tempted to get one of the dolls as a Christmas present for myself... but decided to do a sort of test order of some clothes (and one pair of eyes) first! 

The way it works is that you order and pay for the items without shipping first, then they’ll check their stock, reserve the items for you and send you an invoice for the shipping. After you pay for shipping, they mail your order.

I ordered ten items (9 sets of clothes and 1 pair of eyes) on 12 Nov 2020. They got back to me on 15 Nov to say that one of the outfits was out of stock... I guess it took them a few days to check their stock as the items I ordered were located at different branches of their stores? They do have a note at the bottom of each listing saying which branch the items listed are at. 

Sadly, that out-of-stock outfit was actually the one I really wanted and what made me order in the first place... orz I do see another listing for it, but it's not the complete outfit... Yet, what is missing doesn't really seem to affect the appearance and fit too much?? I'll think about it and maybe add it to my next order. 

Anyway, they said they’d issue me a refund after calculating and deducting the shipping cost for my package from what I’d paid for the out-of-stock outfit. I got my refund on 18 Nov, and they shipped my package yesterday (19 Nov).

So, here’s what I’m waiting for: an SD size kariginu set (first two pics) which was actually incorrectly labelled as a furisode. Though looking at the pics again now, it looks like it might be missing a belt for the outer layer?? This wasn’t mentioned in the listing, but then again the person who did the listing didn’t even know this was a kariginu so.... Anyway, I mainly got this as I really like the colour and pattern of the outer layer. I think it'll suit Ichigo.

Next is some stuff for Kuwana: a rather sexy SD size miko set, two SD size girl’s yukata, two SD size catgirl outfits (I really like catgirl/catboy costumes...)

Then, I got an Azone 50 size furisode. It’s half the price of a brand-new one just because it’s missing a shawl! This is for an Azone Fuko (Follow Me ver.) that I’m waiting for. 

And the last two items are an MSD size wa lolita kimono. I really like the colour and pattern of the cloth. Not sure who it’s for yet. And finally, a pair of 8 mm resin eyes. Again not sure who I’ll use them for, but they were really cheap and such a pretty colour that I just had to get them!
