week 1 of pleinairpril 2024

for plein airpril this year, I wanted to focus on certain elements of painting / rendering on alongside following the theme of "city, ocean, forest, mountain" from the official @warriorpainters site. week 1 was all about color for me 🌈

honestly by day 2, I thought I was losing the plot a bit because my color choices weren't as obvious as I wanted, but when I put all the paintings together, I think the color theme reads alright! working to catch up to week 2 (says that 6 days into week 2 😬)
