Prison guard Vince Rizzo (Andy Garcia) wants to quit his job to become an actor, but he also needs to make up for lost time with Tony (Steven Strait), a long lost son who's an inmate where Vince works. When Tony is freed, Vince suggests the ex-convict move in with his wife, Joyce (Julianna Margulies), and their children. But because Vince neglects to tell his family that Tony is not just a stranger, but the son he fathered before he met Joyce, this leads to a series of comic misunderstandings.

My thoughts on Elliot & Olivia - Mr. Robot episode 403
Again, forgive me if my dumb brain is going off on ridiculous directions again.
First, I completely get that some like her & some don’t. That’s perfectly fine with me & I understand if you’re upset that it’s not your ship. I get it.
I don’t think Sam just added that as fan service in any way. When you think about it, the scene makes sense. Elliot is different this season; he is much more hyper-focused, myopic, desperate, & rash than before.
Whether that is due to his desire to get revenge for Angela combined with his internalized grief expressing itself via anger & aggression, or a merging/shifting of alters, I don’t know. Perhaps both.
But when you have Mr. Let’s Blow Up A Gas Pipeline & Wave Guns At People Robot being the voice of caution, you know he’s crossing the line.
So, Olivia. He breaks into her home & originally plans to exploit her former drug addiction & custody of her son to get the info he needs. When he realizes that won’t work, he seduces her to get what he needs. He’s desperate.
What he doesn’t expect is to make a connection with her. That was unplanned & necessary to remind him of his humanity & to come back down to earth. So he doesn’t completely lose his moral compass.
What happens next, I don’t know. I don’t think things will end well for them, since he tends to lose everyone he becomes close to, plus her connection to Susan Jacobs. We will have to wait & see.
