Last week I had an interview with Dominik Eulberg. A fascinating person. What fascinated me so much? At the beginning of his musical career he didn't let himself be influenced by the mainstream, he developed his own musical profile. He was convinced that good music prevails. This is a message to all young musicians: have the courage to develop your own style and stick to it. Another interesting aspect of his music: his tracks reflect the characteristics of the animals they are named after: Zwölfpunktmarienkäfer is a quiet track, the Zwölfpunkt-Spargelkäfer has a lively rhythm, just to name two examples. What excited me even more was his commitment to the environment. He has developed a quartet of birds (Fliegende Edelsteine), whose earnings are donated to environmental protection, he writes film music for films dealing with this topic and much more. This is a form of social responsibility that is not often found among DJs and music producers. He sees himself as a mediator between science on the one hand and young people on the other. Sure, with his music and his ideas he reaches exactly this target group. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dominik Eulberg very much for the interview and the discussions afterwards, it was great fun.
