Today's #YankeesTrivia question leans more towards the Baltimore Orioles.

So when I saw the question, I instantly thought of Paul Blair. I forgot Brian Roberts played with the Yankees in 2014. He was a solid player alongside Adam Jones for the Orioles. The true surprise in this trio is Don Baylor.

When I think of Baylor, the California Angels and the New York Yankees come to mind. And its power not speed that I think about. Baylor came up with the Orioles in 1970 and played with them through 1975. He had four season of 20+ SB with the Orioles, swiping 32 bags twice in 1973 and 1975. Even more impressive was the 52 bags that Baylor swiped for the Oakland A's in 1976. Baylor was truly an underrated player.

California signs free agent Don Baylor to a six-year, $1.6 million deal. Baylor, who played with the A's last season after being dealt by the Orioles in the Reggie Jackson trade, will go on to become the only Angel to win the MVP Award (1979) until Vladimir Guerrero cops the honor in 2004.

At Dodger Stadium, Don Baylor becomes the first player to participate in three consecutive World Series for three different teams when he pinch-hits in the eighth inning of the A’s 6-0 loss to L.A. in the second game of the Series. The 39-year-old veteran played with the pennant-winning Red Sox in 1986 and the World Champion Twins in 1987.

Happy Tuesday peeps!!! Here is my MLB Immaculate Grid number 1065 for Monday March 2, 2026.

Just like how Arizona Diamondbacks centefielder Luis Gonzalez busted up the Yankees 3-peat ambitions in the 2001 World Series, here he goes busting up my grid. 😆 Honestly, I really can't think of any other centerfielder that played for the DBacks. As a Yankees fan, it's s hard to forget him.

I always have to find a way to get "The Strawman" in a grid. If you haven't had the pleasure, pull up a video of him cranking balls out of the park. His swing is a thing of beauty.

I had to go back to the California Angels days to fill their line. I still find it ridiculous that they are officially called the Los Angeles Angels. They only way they should be called the Los Angeles Angels is when referring to the five seasons of 1961 - 1965 when they played at Wrigley Field L.A., which was the former home of the Hollywood Stars of the Pacific Coast League (1961) and Dodger Stadium 1962 - 1965.)
