Throughout his life, Don Curtis was almost obsessed with the culture of North American Indians and his knowledge of this he often used in his songs, he was often called "white Indian". His first single, Don Curtis released in 1967, his real breakthrough to fame is the song " Men Of Dakota "1970 .... died on November 13, 2001 ...Igor Vitko...~ Single by Swedish artist with special interest for writing lyrics about indians. I bought this single when i was about 12-13 years old from a guy that knocked door in our familys homearea. He presented himself as brother to the artist and asked if i was interested to listen to the records and maybe buy them. I liked them and got my parents to pay for them.
