Don’t fret, things right now are temporary. This exact day will never exist again and neither will the problems that came with it. You’re on your way to bigger and better things because that’s what you’ve earned and that’s what you deserve.
Accept yourself as you were designed.
Instead of hating ourselves, let's help ourselves.
When I look myself in the mirror, I see bad hair, a double chin that’s increasing at an increasing rate, extremely bad back posture and me growing into a legit potato shape.
I’ve been hating myself for a long time but it has just made things worse. So you know what I’m going to do now? Yes, I’m going to help myself.
I’ve just oiled my hair, am working on increasing my water in take and the veggies in my diet, sitting with back support and realizing that this can’t be one epic lifestyle change. It has to be baby steps.
Whether it’s physical, emotional, mental or any other aspect of yourself you really don’t like, don’t add to your issues and hate yourself. Try helping yourself. Whether by accpeting it or changing it. Somethings you can’t change.
I can’t change that I don’t like sharing my writing with those who know me in “real” life. So, I simply don’t post my stuff on facebook or insta. Perhaps I could change this but I don’t see how it’s harming my well being or anyone else’s so I will just accept this is what I am like and accomodate it instead of trying to fight it.
But the other things? Physical health in my case? Yeah, that is harming my well being and I can and will change it. One tiny habit at a time.
And I don’t need to wait for 2019 to do that.
I am going to do it now.
I am finally going to help myself.
Nice Words I Could Say
If I said nice words, in passing by, would it surprise you? It's not something that's often heard, positivity creeping into everything seen or done, and yet some people can be cruel, and I don't know why.
Why is it easier to criticize, than to let people be who they are? Stop making up rumors, and cease telling lies. That, for sure, will take you real far.
Before you say something mean or an insult, think how it would hurt if someone said that to you. If you're more positive, then what's the result? People you're nice to will be nice to you, too.
The world would be a much better place, if people would be kind instead of mean. If you can say it behind my back, you can say it to my face. It's either true or it's not. There's no in-between.
So the next time you're ready to spew a hateful thought, just hold your tongue until you can say something better. You can be nice to others, the way you've surely been taught. Make that your next move, and be a positive trend-setter.
Maybe because we like someone too much, we hate them for being so like-able. Maybe because the person we like doesn't like us back, we hate them for not returning our feelings. Maybe because someone possesses more than us, we hate them for making us jealous. Maybe because we feel guilty towards someone for hating them, we hate them even more for making us hate ourselves.
Approximately based on Yoon Jin Myung’s voiceover in ep 10, Age of Youth 2. “Maybe that (hate) letter simply came earlier than I expected”...
Afterall, who can live without ever being loved and hated by another?
You're BEAUTIFUL
So I was looking at my face and legs with a flashlight. I pointed out blackheads on my nose and a pimple coming in. Yeah I saw stretch marks and bumps from shaving. But its who I am. Yeah I get pimples and don't complain because I'm a teen its going to happen. I get a period and go through that bull crap. It's hard being a girl. Yeah so when guys say they like a girl who doesn't get pimples or doesn't have a period because it's 'nasty'. Sorry bud there is no girl on this planet who hasn't had a pimple once or didn't have a period not including a issue that makes them not have one. But other than that I'm a girl who gets pimples and gets a period and uses all kinds of face wash and tries to cover my stretch marks because I got made fun of for it. So right not I'm only going to say it once. I'm a person. Having stretch marks is not ugly. Getting one or two pimples is not nasty. And going through periods isn't either. I think is natural to get them. Because when I see people on Instagram say 'she/he has a pimple' or something like that it makes me want to punch them. Why can't you see they can't handle getting a pimple once in a while. It's natural to get them. Everyone is beautiful no matter how many pimples or how much you can see a stretch mark. So if you see someone making fun of somebody else because they have these issues tell them to stop because it's stupid to bring somebody down becuase they get these problems. You're BEAUTIFUL. No matter what anybody says.
