I finally got it right...ish
I knew Clark’s posture was the problem but it turned out his angle was off too. Calin needed to be reaching higher but for the most part she was fine. In order to see everything (the coffee mug, her straightening his tie, the kiss on the forehead) I had to change Clark’s head from profile to 3/4 and after that everything just fell into place and now it finally looks like they are actually sharing the same space. Gotta fine tune him a little more but I got it!
