LILY’S GOING HOME TO HEAL!🎉🐶🐾🙏. Our sweet, lovable 5 month old little girl, has made it through her Stabilization Reduction from her Atlantoaxial Luxation birth defect😳. Basically poor Lily neck was dislocating from the base of her skull😱. The 80% compression of her spinal cord and surgically reattaching her head with pins, bone grafting and bone cement. Now the healing begins as we carefully monitor Lily, giving her chance to slowly build back up. She will be on cage rest for 6 to 8 weeks...lily should be completely healed by 6 months, where she will be given incremental larger opportunity for movement. She now has the rest of her life to live, walk and soon play like the puppy she wants to be. Our medical bills are GINORMOUS and we need HELP🙏. Lily's PupDate Alert! This video is of Lily's pre-surgery to correct her congenital birth defect for a Alantoaxial Luxation and implement a Stabilzation Reduction.😟💔🐾 Which means keeping Lily's head and neck from continual dislocation from her skull! 😱 by corecting the severe compression of her spinal cord that is creating paralysis. Dr. Berry, Lily's neurologist call last night to report the surgery went well!🎉💖🎉. Even though she had severe compression of her spinal cord and edema, with quite a bit of scare tissue, that needed to be removed. Now we hope and pray that her surgery is a success and Lily will significant improvement on her ability to be mobile again and rise out of her puppy depression! Yes, depression from being a 5 month puppy in discomfort and unable to have a quality of life...😢 AGAIN, PLEASE, THIS SURGERY WILL, WELL EXCEED OUR FIRST ESTIMATE AS AN MRI HAD TO BE DONE.
