Ti amo sempre, Bearski Bu! 😍💋💖 I had to wait 5yrs for workers comp to settle my case and then it wasn't enough for surgery in the US... Ironically, it WAS enough to get more advanced surgery in DU where they would've fixed me the same year that I got injured & I would've been back on set designing & painting the same year. UPDATE ALERT ON LILY! Lily is doing great she has found her voice, her eyes Sparkle, she moves surefooted now too! No more stumbling, falling over, no shaking in fear from being ai physically vulnerable...she is coming into her inner puppy💖💕💓. Lily update Sunday Oct. 21, 2018! We wanted to update everyone ASAP as to Lily current Status on her Atlantoaxial Luxtation surgery... Lily is resting comfortably at the SC California Specialty Hospital in Irvine today post surgery. She will continued to be observed and hoping for her to be released by this Monday🎉🙏🐾. Our neurologists Dr. Berry feels very pleased with her progress as she is making great strides in movement so quickly! She seems brighter, her strength has already improved and when she does her doggy body shake, she doesn’t topple over! Please flip through the pics and see how severe of a spinal cord compression she had😳. She was at 80% compression, with scar tissue all around her surgical site and spinal cord. No wonder, she was so weak, stumbling and losing her balance🙁. She has had extensive scar tissue removal, decompression of her spinal cord, pins installed to stabilize her neck to stay attached to her head, bone grafting and bone cement. In time we hope that her curvature of her neck and back will subside to a more normal position. She had muscle atrophy due to her paralysis and will now have a chance to build back up, making her stronger and bringing her curvatures more into alignment. Lily still has a way to go, but we are optimistic. Lily's PupDate Alert! This video is of Lily's pre-surgery to correct her congenital birth defect for a Alantoaxial Luxation and implement a Stabilzation Reduction.😟💔🐾 Which means keeping Lily's head and neck from continual dislocation from her skull! 😱 by corecting the severe compression of her spinal cord that is creating paralysis. Dr. Berry, Lily's neurologist call last night to report the surgery went well!🎉💖🎉. Even though she had severe compression of her spinal cord and edema, with quite a bit of scare tissue, that needed to be removed. Now we hope and pray that her surgery is a success and Lily will significant improvement on her ability to be mobile again and rise out of her puppy depression! Yes, depression from being a 5 month puppy in discomfort and unable to have a quality of life...😢 AGAIN, PLEASE, THIS SURGERY WILL, WELL EXCEED OUR FIRST ESTIMATE AS AN MRI HAD TO BE DONE.
