Walking With Donkeys In The French Alps

So proud of my little lady. For context, our therapy donkeys are trained to stop inside of a hoop. Except Rêveuse here was terrified. She would let me touch her with the hoop but setting the tip of one hoof inside of it was a big no no.

So I worked with a square of ground poles and we halted there. Then I made the square smaller. Then I set the hoop inside of the square, just tangent to it. And when that was okay, I made the square larger and left the hoop inside, until the square was no longer necessary.

Also I (re)trained her to pick up her feet and she's made so much progress.
