A photo from the funeral of San Diego barman and proprietor Donald Luster last Tuesday. Originally from Gloucester MA He was one of the pioneers in town who after World War II starting in the 1950's built the nightlife scene in a lot of ways. He owned Peter D's and ran several other clubs. He also built the Pink Panther on Morena Boulevard in 1965. I picked of a copy of the CD "Only Human" which had the music of singer songwriter Don Luster as I was leaving his memorial celebration on Tuesday.
