I hate seeing a pretty girl lose sleep over a man who looks like he negotiated his way onto earth.

I was going through some old folders and found this text file with some thoughts. This was one that stood out for me so I decided to make a 'lil something for it.

As a person that writes, do you ever have days where you wanna write but you just can't seem to make words.
You try to bully yourself to produce something that flows, but then you feel that what you've written sounds mediocre at best.
You know that you can do so much better, yet better doesn't come easy and it's so depressing that you give yourself writers block again cause you're anxiety gets the better of you.
You wish you could create a masterpiece, and even when you start and reread what you've written, you want to delete everything.
That's how I've been feeling for the last two years and I want to blame so many factors like being a mother and not having the energy to write cause I'm sacrificing my hobbies for my child. Or that I work from home, so my room is no longer my safe haven or creative space.
I feel that this pandemic changed me so much and I'm emotionally lost. But I'll get better, I just need to change my perspective and stay positive. It just helps to know that you're not alone and that someone understands how I feel.
What if the worst thing that happened to you turns out to be the best thing that has ever happened to you?

Withdrawal.
Heart on your sleeve. Eyes wide open.
Friends or foes? Both doors are open.
Staying up late, Waking up early.
Functional.
Years spent having fun. But one day the sun comes up.
And suddenly... You’re utterly alone.
