Day 80... • Then & Now... as I get ready to go to bed for the last time as a 39yr old I have been thinking about my life since turning 30 • I have lost some stuff and some people and I have gained some stuff and some people but one of the biggest changes within me in the last 10yrs is my sense of self, purpose and health • 10yrs ago I had very little sense of self, I was someone’s sister, someone’s daughter, a singer in the church a reliable and loyal friend but I didn’t really know me in my 20s I existed like everyone else did and because I merely existed I had no real sense of purpose and I didn’t really take my health super seriously despite making more positive efforts in that direction... • Thankfully that did NOT spill into my 30s!!! • In my 30s I have taken charge of my life, I am still all of those identifying adjectives but the difference between then and now is that I own them, I take pride in them, I embrace them and use them to help me in defining my purpose • The biggest thing really to change is my ownership of and responsibility for my health!!!
