"Psh, I bet Ozera can do that." I don't even know why I said it, but it just uncontrollably rolled out of my tongue. And then I realized that I'm on my fifth bottle since we've started Book 1. The colors on the screen are starting to get a little psychedelic.

This was not a situation that Isaac was used to. He knew what he wanted and he was more than happy to try and get it. But there was the issue of loyalty in there too and that putt pressure on him.

He wanted to be with Allison, there was an undeniable connection between them and there was the wolf inside of him added with teenage hormones that had a lot of desires towards her. The issue was her ex — his alpha — Scott. He hated lying to him and though people suspected there was something between the two of them, neither of them had openly admitted anything.

You can't keep lying to people Isaac, remember what happens when you lie to people? Bad things happen. You don't things to turn out like that again.

Isaac knew Scott would never hurt him like his father did but he was still an authoritative figure over him and in a way if he told him to never see Allison again, would he have to accept that and obey? Was that what happened between an Alpha and a Beta?

He couldn't lose his friend but he wanted the girl too, was it worth the risk?
