Closing time (w/ the lovely dont-get-cocky)

Mort looked around the people at the bar. He didn't exactly enjoy the atmosphere of the bar, it seemed a little tense. He knew it was a mutant bar from what people told him. But for when your on the run alone nothing exactly makes you feel safe. He wished that his ability wouldn't act up on him, last thing he needed was people mad and to get into a fight. That or even someone who hated mutants come after him.

He only continued to sip his drink as he noticed someone sitting by them self in the corner, he wondered why he sat there alone. He only continued to stare, he didn't mean too. He was more a less in his own thought world, when he though the stranger noticed him staring he almost had a slight panic as he kind of stopped spacing out and turned back around. "Shit...." he muttered to himself "Man I spaced out too much. Damn." he sighed in annoyance fixing his hat down.

Splotch looked up at Yancy and smiled nervously. “I don’t know if i’ll ever get the hang of skating.” he said trying to stand again wishing he still had his tail to balance himself.
