By request of the city, Winnipeg police try to plan a Grey Cup parade route that doesn’t involve passing any city service buildings that are slated to close.

People have been coming together to give support & help to this California-based shop called Donut City (which has been around for decades, serving the community with some tasty doughnuts). 

Apparently, people have been buying as many doughnuts as they could to ensure that this man is able to look after and take care of his wife (who is not in the best of health by any means) and to make sure that he is able to get home to her as soon as possible.

This is a profound example of how people will do what’s right and will make sure that the sanctity of life is sustained and there are still good people in the world who care to see others alive & well.

I am a firm believer that you get what you give in this world - it’s good to see that people will reach out to lend a hand when necessary. God bless ‘em (Just one of many qualities that show us how amazing humanity can be when we consciously apply ourselves to make a positive difference).
