After an entire summer of dealing with annoying & demanding tourists, it was nice to actually be the cranky & demanding tourist for once. And while Beach City was kind of small-ish and off-the-map for a place Wendy had travelled so far to see ( the East Coast? Really? Couldn’t her cousin have picked, like, Santa Barbara or something? ), she was actually enjoying her vacation so far.

Forget lifeguard duty -- free donuts are where it’s at. She wonders if she’d be allowed to wear her regular plaid shirt over the uniform shirt if she worked here. Some might say that purple and teal don’t belong together; to that, Wendy will argue that everything looks good with a donut on it.
